Penny M. Hagerman
A true Southerner at heart, Penny is an Oklahoma native and Texas transplant. With a broad background in education, publishing and marketing, Penny specializes in writing, editing, search engine optimization and content development. When not pecking away at her computer, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and beloved Westie, Patty, and traveling. Someday she and her husband, Allen, plan to retire to Wyoming, where they'll raise cattle on his family's ranch.
Lori Reed
As Director of Marketing, Lori is focused on creating informative and honest communications with the InsureMe community: consumers, agents and affiliates. Before coming to InsureMe, Lori worked for IBM, as well as for software development companies based in Rome, Oslo and Galway, Ireland. She is currently a member of the board of directors for the Optimus Corporation.
Katherine Hernandez
A Colorado native, Katherine Hernandez is an InsureMe Agent Service Representative (ASR) and views the InsureMe blog as a way to further provide exceptional service and more communication with insurance agents. Katherine has over 15 years of customer service under her belt working for corporations including American Express and Merrill Lynch, and has a B.S. in Business/Marketing. Passions include family (of course!), traveling (been to Great Britain, Germany, and a few areas in SE Asia, and plans more!), reading, the Colorado outdoors, movies, and a great cup of tea. Although concerned about the state of the economy and issues such as healthcare reform, she is wondering how she's going to survive her upcoming adopted puppy.
Melissa Webb
Melissa grew up in Colorado, not far from where InsureMe's home base sits. She returned to the area after completing her B.A. and still continues to leave frequently- but only temporarily! She loves to travel and in addition to trekking across the US, she's been to England, France, Romania, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and Mexico. Melissa came into insurance lead sales the old fashioned way, by coincidence. She started working in sales in college and found that she very much enjoys sales and customer service. When she's not blogging or on the phones, you can find Melissa rock climbing, reading, crocheting, cooking up something in the kitchen, volunteering at the local Wildlife Museum, or snuggling with her kittens.
Adam Peters
Adam has been in the insurance industry since 2003, and was an insurance agent for five of those years. He grew up in Illinois around the Chicago and attended Trinity College in Deerfield, Illinois where he met his wife. He is a huge science fiction fan, especially anything to do with Star Wars or Star Trek. (Darth Vadar is his favorite character because he represents that no matter how much a person might mess up, he or she can always be redeemed). He might be found chasing a little white ball around a golf course, or on an occasional camping and fishing trip. He shares his home with three cats, a dog named Buffy, and fish in two salt water aquariums.
