Jeannie Milan: Director of Human Resources
One of very few Colorado natives in the office, Jeannie Milan is InsureMe’s human resource director. Before joining InsureMe in 2004, she worked at Harland Financial Solutions, formerly known as Formation Technologies. It wasn’t until after she started at InsureMe that she even decided to pursue a career in HR—after all, how difficult could it be? She had no idea how little she knew about HR topics like ratios or regression analysis, quality circles and SWOT methods. There was a lot more to this HR role than she ever dreamed of, but she was determined to go for it and after extensive study, she went on to obtain her national certification in human resource management. Jeannie has a passion for service and is a regular volunteer for the Denver Rescue Mission. She has also participated in every volunteer service trip that InsureMe has offered, working with organizations such as Missions Ministries who provides homes for the indigent people of Juarez, Mexico. More recently, Jeannie and her husband of 36 years have invested in “fix n’ flip” properties, and have taken a couple of memorable trips – Italy and Mexico. Her hobbies include traveling, scrapbooking, and going to the movies. Most importantly, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, particularly her seven—yes, seven—adorable grandchildren.
