Consumers Can Shop Confidently For Term Life Insurance
Consumers can shop for term life insurance in confidence despite the ongoing recession, with a major ratings firm having just announced that the industry is well-poised to weather current economic conditions.
A report from Dow Jones says even though some companies could see downgrades in their credit rating, the industry remains well poised to come through the recession unscathed.
The report noted that this news will be especially welcomed by the investment community, which has shied away from many key insurance companies, driving down their stock prices as a result.
One insurance industry organization, NAVA, the Association for Insured Retirement Solutions, hailed the news and fully agreed with the findings.
"Today's positive outlook from Moody's shows that Americans should remain confident in our industry and turn to insured retirement solutions to bolster their retirement security," CEO Kathy Weatherford said in a statement.
While investors and the insurance industry were pleased by the announcement, this is also good news for consumers because it gives them one more incentive to invest in the security of their families with term life insurance.
