Affordable Life Insurance May be Closer than You Think
Despite the recession, many consumers may be surprised to learn that there are affordable life insurance policies available that can help guarantee their family's long-term financial stability.
The month of September marks National Life Insurance Awareness Month, which is a time when groups like the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) try to bring that message home to more consumers.
According to Frank Keating, the ACLI CEO and a former governor of Oklahoma, the recession should not keep families from making what could be a crucial investment.
"Understandably, many Americans are more focused on getting through the next week than on long-term financial planning. But we are a resilient people and our economy is showing signs of improvement. We can't lose sight of the fact that better times lie ahead and financial protection needs are constant," said Keating.
Other insurance companies have stated that approximately 70 million Americans currently are without policies, despite the benefits that an affordable life insurance policy can offer.
