Asthma Patients Require Sufficient Health Coverage

With that in mind, the American Lung Association recently reminded people that Halloween can carry some irritants for asthma sufferers. For example, individuals with asthma symptoms may want to think twice about going on hay rides. Those who do choose to go on a ride should have quick-relief medication with them.

Those who are going out for Halloween can also control their symptoms by considering their choice of costume. For example, the lung association noted that latex masks can trigger asthma symptoms, and that choosing a half-mask can allow easier breathing as well.

Makeup can also trigger asthma symptoms in some patients, which is another thing to consider at Halloween time. Also, any candy that triggers a food allergy can also bring on dangerous asthma symptoms.
