InsureMe Speaking at High Tecc

by Jeb Foster

Vail, Colorado -- July 16, 2007 -- InsureMe, an online lead generation company, will be presenting at the HIGH-TECC conference in Vail, Colorado on July 16th. Marketing strategist James Omdahl and lead copywriter Megan Mahan will equip insurance agents and industry professionals with tips to increase their web visibility.

Omdahl and Mahan's presentation will offer guidelines and best practices for optimizing web content and managing pay-per-click campaigns, as well as suggestions for finding reputable web marketing companies.

Hosted by Steve Anderson of The Automated Agency Report, HIGH-TECC 2007 "Roadmap to E-Success" will bring together a wide cross-section of people from the industry to learn how to effectively use technology to better serve their clientele and bring in new business. And Omdahl and Mahan have the recipe for success--a strategic combination of search engine optimization and pay-per-click marketing.

"The insurance industry as a whole suffers from a lack of marketing innovation and web savoir-faire. It's important to us to help agents adapt their business to the internet, which can help them improve their sustainability for years to come," Mahan said. "And with reports indicating that 70 million people shopped online for auto insurance in the past two years, I'm sure a lot of agents are looking to get online but don't know where to start."

Omdahl and Mahan agree it's more important than ever for companies to place themselves in front of online shoppers.  From 2004 to 2006, the auto insurance industry saw a 58 percent annual increase in policies purchased online (and a 15 percent annual increase in the number of quotes submitted online).

Mahan maintains that it's not too late for agents who haven't adjusted their business model to take advantage of the internet. "If they jump in now, they certainly won't be the last in their industry," she added.
