InsureMe Agent Site Gets a Facelift
by Megan Mahan
July 20, 2007 -- It may not be of Joan Rivers' proportions, but InsureMe, the premier online lead generator, has nipped and tucked its site for agents, and launched it for mass consumption.
The new agent web site is the central location for new agents to sign up with InsureMe, as well as for current InsureMe agents to:
- Create lead profiles
- Tweak filters
- Fire up the Agent Connection lead management tool
- Organize and follow up on InsureMe leads
- Brush up on insurance sales tips
"While our customer service managers are here to serve and help agents, we understand the value of allowing agents to control their accounts and profiles via the web," said InsureMe Director of Marketing, Lori Reed, of the new site. "Our hope is that current agents see the value in using it -- and tell their peers about the site's ease of use."
In addition to being able to better manage various profiles and personal account settings, the new design makes it easier for all agents to access resources and other information about the InsureMe service. Updates to frequently asked questions (FAQ), lead pricing, sample leads, and contact pages have all been made; agents can also access the InsureMe Agent Resource Center and the InsureMe Agent Blog directly from the homepage.
There are approximately 5,000 agents on the InsureMe service nationwide. The company has recently been recognized by the Best Places to Work Institute, earning a nod as the second best place to work in America. InsureMe's James Omdahl and Megan Mahan were also present at the 2007 HIGH TECC conference in Vail, Colo., this week where they spoke to industry professionals about search marketing and emerging web trends.
