DENVER -- InsureMe CEO Tim McTavish will be speaking at this year's eInsurance Symposium on September 19 in Dallas, Texas.

McTavish will speak in the Entrepreneur's Forum on the topic of technology and web use to propel insurance distribution and underwriting. The forum will also give attendees an opportunity to learn about InsureMe and how the company has used the web and related technologies to propel business.

McTavish opened the doors to InsureMe in 1993; in 1996 InsureMe became the first insurance lead aggregator on the internet. In the last 14 years, InsureMe has grown from three employees to 70; the company has also amassed a series of awards this year, ranging from the number two best place to work in the United States, to the second best Colorado business for working parents.

While InsureMe has used the internet to connect insurance shoppers with agents nationwide, the company has also become a recognized leader in search marketing techniques. In the past two years, the company has had speakers at prominent conferences like Commission Junction University, AM Best, and most recently, HIGH TECC, speaking on topics like blogging and internet marketing.

The 2007 eInsurance Symposium opened on September 17 and runs through September 19. This year's summit will cover the pioneers of online insurance technology--gleaning best practices from industry standouts, sharing new ideas, and planning for the future.

McTavish's panel on insurance technology begins on September 19 at 2:45 PM.
